‘PulmoStar’ (PULMONARY CARE PROGRAM) The Pulmonary Care Program at Highland Care Center is designed to meet the clinical needs of patients with chronic and acute respiratory conditions which may require oxygen, suctioning, nebulizer treatments and/or use of a bipap or cpap machines. The goal of the program is to limit the physical effects of respiratory related illness and improve overall health.

‘CardioStar’ (CARDIAC CARE PROGRAM) The Cardiac Care Program at Highland Care Center promotes optimum recovery and health for those recovering from heart disease and/or cardiac-related surgery.The goal of the program is to limit the physical effects of cardiac illness and improve cardiovascular fitness and overall health.

‘NeuroStar’ (NEURO/STROKE REHABILITATION) The Neuro/Stroke Rehabilitation Program at Highland Care Center has been designed specifically for individuals who are recovering from a stroke or other traumatic brain injury.Our goal is to help you recover as much functionality as possible and improve your physical and cognitive status so you can return home as quickly and safely as possible.

‘OrthoStar’ (ORTHOPEDIC REHABILITATION) The Orthopedic Rehabilitation Program at Highland Care Center has been designed specifically for individuals who are recovering from hip or knee surgery. Our goal is to help you recover and improve your physical functioning so you can return home as quickly and safely as possible.

Palliative Care Program is specialized medical care for people with serious illness. This type of care is focused on providing relief from the symptoms and stress of a serious illness.

Provided to residents who cannot be taken care of at home due to the caregiving demands of a chronic illness, the frailties of age, or physical limitations.

Benefitting patients following surgery, as well as those who have a limited capacity due to a prolonged acute illness or the effects of a chronic disease.

The LifeVest™ is a personal defibrillator worn by a patient at risk for sudden cardiac arrest (SCA).
